Knife Care
Hand wash and dry your knife immediately after use. Do not place it in a dishwasher. Avoid cutting frozen food, bones, or other hard materials unless the knife is designed for that purpose.
Store the blade in a knife block, saya, blade guard, or on a suitable magnetic strip.
Complimentary First Sharpening
Eligible knives purchased from Tetsu & Oak include their first standard sharpening at no additional cost. Proof of purchase may be required.
Major chip repair, thinning, rust removal, reprofiling, and restoration work are not included.
A Japanese-made multipurpose slicing knife designed for bread, cooked meat, fish, and other foods that benefit from a combination of serrated and straight cutting edges.
The blade features serrations at the tip and heel to help break through firm crusts and outer surfaces. The straight centre section then slices through softer interiors cleanly, helping reduce crushing and tearing.
Made from molybdenum steel in Tsubame-Sanjo, Niigata, Japan, this is a practical specialty knife for kitchens that want more versatility than a conventional fully serrated bread knife.
