Knife Care

Hand wash and dry your knife immediately after use. Do not place it in a dishwasher. Avoid cutting frozen food, bones, or other hard materials unless the knife is designed for that purpose.

Store the blade in a knife block, saya, blade guard, or on a suitable magnetic strip.

Complimentary First Sharpening

Eligible knives purchased from Tetsu & Oak include their first standard sharpening at no additional cost. Proof of purchase may be required.

Major chip repair, thinning, rust removal, reprofiling, and restoration work are not included.

Bring worn kitchen knives back to a clean, dependable edge with this two-sided combination whetstone.

The coarse #120 side is designed for heavier sharpening work, including repairing small chips, correcting damaged edges and reshaping very dull knives. Flip the stone to the #1000 side for routine sharpening and refining the edge to restore everyday cutting performance.

A fitted base holds the stone securely and raises it above the work surface for better clearance while sharpening. With two useful grits in one compact setup, it’s a practical choice for maintaining hardworking kitchen knives at home.

Features:

• Dual-sided #120 and #1000 combination whetstone

• #120 coarse side for edge repair and reshaping

• #1000 medium side for routine sharpening

• Fitted base provides stability and hand clearance

• Suitable for most double-bevel kitchen knives

Use and care:

Follow the manufacturer’s preparation instructions before use. Keep the stone wet while sharpening and allow it to dry completely before storing. Flatten the sharpening surfaces periodically to maintain consistent results.

Please note: The #120 side removes metal quickly and should be used carefully. It is intended for repair work rather than regular touch-ups.
