Knife Care
Hand wash and dry your knife immediately after use. Do not place it in a dishwasher. Avoid cutting frozen food, bones, or other hard materials unless the knife is designed for that purpose.
Store the blade in a knife block, saya, blade guard, or on a suitable magnetic strip.
Complimentary First Sharpening
Eligible knives purchased from Tetsu & Oak include their first standard sharpening at no additional cost. Proof of purchase may be required.
Major chip repair, thinning, rust removal, reprofiling, and restoration work are not included.
Protect your knives from rust and moisture with Kurobara Hamono Tsubaki Knife Oil, a Japanese-made maintenance oil designed for fine cutlery.
Applied in a thin layer, the oil creates a protective barrier that helps keep moisture and oxidation away from the blade. It is especially useful for carbon-steel knives, which can develop rust when stored without protection, and is also suitable for longer-term storage of other kitchen knives.
The precision applicator makes it easy to control the amount of oil and reach along the entire blade without unnecessary waste.
Features:
• Japanese-made knife-care oil
• Helps protect blades against rust and moisture
• Particularly useful for carbon-steel knives
• Precision applicator nozzle
• Convenient tethered nozzle cover
• 100 mL bottle
Directions:
Clean and completely dry the blade before applying. Place a few drops of oil on each side and spread it into a very thin, even coating using a soft cloth or paper towel. Wipe the blade clean before its next use.
Keep out of reach of children. Store tightly closed in a cool place away from direct sunlight.
