Major chip repair, thinning, rust removal, reprofiling, and restoration work are not included.
Restore and maintain a dependable working edge with the Suehiro CERAX 1010 #1000 Ceramic Whetstone.
This medium-grit Japanese water stone is designed for routine sharpening, including restoring dull kitchen knives and refining the edge after coarse repair work. Its full-size sharpening surface provides comfortable room for consistent strokes across both compact and full-size knives.
The stone comes mounted on a base for added stability and hand clearance while sharpening.
Features:
• Manufacturer: Suehiro
• Series: CERAX
• Model: 1010
• Grit: #1000 medium
• Ceramic water stone
• Mounted base
• Suitable for routine knife sharpening
• Made in Japan
Directions:
Soak the stone in clean water before sharpening. Once prepared, place it on a stable, non-slip surface and keep the sharpening surface wet throughout use.
Maintain a consistent angle and sharpen until an even burr develops, then repeat on the opposite side. Finish with alternating light strokes to reduce the burr before moving to a finer stone or strop.
Care:
Rinse away all sharpening residue after use. Allow the stone to dry completely in a well-ventilated area before storing. Flatten the surface periodically to maintain consistent sharpening contact.
Do not leave the stone soaking for extended periods or expose it to extreme heat, freezing temperatures or a dishwasher.
